Understand the config option for Restricted Personal Information Fields

Feature Overview

On the contact Further Information tab (for both Client Contacts and Candidates) the Gender, Birthday, Ethnicity and Religion fields are represented by the "key"  symbol. This means they are only visible to users with hightened levels of permission,  due to the sensitive nature of these fields.  

Purpose

Control access to sensitive Contact Diversity information. 

Defaults and Considerations

By default only Mercury Administrators are granted the permission to view and edit these fields. Sharing this information with authorised individuals helps maintain trust and prevents the misuse of confidential information. 

To Enable or Amend this Feature

This feature will be enabled as standard as per the defaults above.  Should you wish to make any amendments please provide the following details to your Mercury Product Consultant;

  • List or team of users that also require access to be able to read and write to these fields.
